All I want to do is bend a line! Help!

I want to bend a line. Is the pen tool incapable of only making you a bent line? I can't bend the line tool (because I'm a newb?)

So I try to just make a straight line with the pen tool and add 1 anchor point in the middle, but as you all may know once you move the anchor point to bend a line, it creates it into a half circle shape. God I just want a bent line that is 2 pixels wide and has whatever color. that's it.

In my drawing there is going to be a bunch of these bent lines. Does each line really have to end up being its own layer too?

I can't believe I can't find a tutorial on bending a line. It's driving me insane with how simple the concept could be, but isnt.

Okay I figured it out. You make sure the pen tool is set to path and once you make your curved line you right click it and select stroke path. From there you can do almost unlimited things to style the line how you want it.

I was happy to see this doesn't make new layers each time you move it and stroke it as well.

I'm still all ears if people know other ways.

Glad to see that you figured out your problem for yourself.

Creating a straight line and adding anchor points is one way to do it, but it's not necessary. You can create curved lines by clicking and dragging each anchor point.
