Hi guys,

I'm completely new to this so I hope i'm in the right topic :)!
Does somebody have a good tutorial to create this? :
paper.jpg
I don't know the right english word but I searched for 'crumbling / folded / ripping / tearing'-photoshop tutorials. Could'nt find anything to work with..

Thanks in advance!

I once used the same technique with gradients in Difference mode like the ones shown in gedstar links, but instead of Emboss filter, etc.. I applied it on a Depth map texture in 3D( "Create New Mesh from Grayscale" command)
This way you can get perfect 3D look and real distortion of the photo's contents.

Advice:
use 16 bit mode for Depth map and 0 Smoothness for gradients.
scale the paper in Z direction to get needed depth and rotate it as you like.
