Elements 11

I am using Adobe Elements 11.

When I open a text area, a gadget containing a check mark and a slashed cricle appears at the lower right of the text area. It is a real pain as it can cover a large portion of the text area.

Can someone please tell me what this is and how I can get rid of it.

Click the slash circle to cancel and the check mark to accept.

Is there s way to turn it off???

I don't use Elements, so I can't say for sure, but probably not. You might check the help
files and see if there is anything in Preferences that you can
change.
