Elements 6

New member here with many questions. Found that I have a copy of Elements 6 here, Is that a decent program to start with? Also I found something called layers in this program. What are layers if I may ask. I appreciate all the help given.

I want to thank you for your reply. It seems that I ask, you reply and then I have a weeks worth of home work. IAmSam. in your opinion would an upgrade to the latest Essentials be of any benefit to me at this time?

I think as long as your using Elements, upgrading to the latest version that's within' your budget would be a good idea.
