HELP! i can't open photoshop documents in photoshop!

HELP!i click open filethen i click the file i want to open(a photoshop file)

and it comes up with this

then i press OK and it has no picture! and it still comes up with all the details

i am really confused :SWHAT CAN I DO?​

if you rightclick on the file maybe you can choose "open with" and take "photoshop"

oh i had the ♥ symbol on the file, so i could tell the difference between my two folders, and photoshop doesn't like ♥'s.
