Help with plug in please.

I have downloaded a trial of CS6 and I like it. I have copied my plug ins as I saw advised on this site into the plug in folder. All of my Topaz ones work just fine. Silver and Colour Effex work when I am adjusting the file but the adjustments dont show up in the palette when I click OK.... I have waited and waited but to no avail - can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please?
 
So it's not hanging in the Nik plugin screen but when you get to Photoshop?

Are you getting an icon showing it's processing?
It used to be an hourglass now it's some spinning circle or something.
