Hi

I'm trying to edit photos for a client and the specs read:

"Highlights should be consistent and should read 245-247"

Can anyone please tell me what this means? Also, please point out where I should look in the menus to alter highlight values.

Thanks

Hi iDad,
I looked in shadows/highlights but I do not see numbers that can range from 245 - 247. Therefore, I'm assuming I'm looking in the wrong place...

those #'s are confusing, try curves (maybe)

set the input......... output

Exactly. It's confusing. But it's a spec requirement that was given to me. I don't believe it has to do with the Curves feature...

I believe it has to do with the white hilite setting ----- white maximum at between 245 or 247......

what I suggest... as you do your adjustments (ie. levels, brightness, etc) hover your pointer over the white hilites making sure your info pallete is active so you can see the color information.

No PS here to show you what I mean.... but here's an image ...

Your RGB should read straight 245 - 247....

Hope this is the specs they meant....

It sounds like your customer wants the highlights not to exceed 245.
Open levels and enter the value to 245.
