How to convert sedan to stationwagon car in Photoshop?

I can do the basics of "photochopping" cars at an average level, like recoloring, adding new alloy wheels.
However, changing the body style is the hard part.
Attached is the image I'm working on (1st image) and the bodystyle I'm using to transplant the stationwagon onto.

I've tried, but am not really sure how to do this - I'm trying to

It's actually the second attachment I'm trying to edit, not the first one.

I only put a minute into this just to give you the idea. Copy-Paste-distort to fit as best you can, clone blend whatever you need to do. Then you'd have to match the colors, lighting, etc.

What you are trying to do is REALLY TOUGH, and time taking for even Photoshop professionals.

As hawkeye explained, you'll have to do that, and then you have to work a LOT with adjustment layers, Curves, Levels.

You then will need to change the wheel rims, add lighting, change the window tint.

Your first chore here is to get these images taken at the same angle. Your first image is taken at 2 point perspective, and the second is taken at 1 point perspective. If you were to "transplant" the sedan onto the station wagon, it's important to know what the sedan looks like at roughly the same lighting and same angle as the station wagon. Otherwise you're going to be doing a lot of guesswork as to what something looks like. Somehow I get the feeling that this project is for commercial work. Yeah this is definitely not a newbie or even intermediate caliber project. But I want to be sure that I understand you correctly. I think you want to take the body style of the sedan and put it on the station wagon. Do you want to use the same colors and roughly the same lighting as well? I might just give this a shot just to be able to say I tried. Might be awhile though as I'm working on adding to my portfolio website. That takes priority.

Wow! that was amazing.. But i think it was really hard to do... Is that layering or merging? i forgot the the term use...
