Hi.

Any layer or image I am working on in Photoshop CS5 becomes invisible unless my zoom magnification is set at 25%.

this makes it difficult to do... well, Anything.

Adobe support is no help.

Here's the basic list of "To-Do's" when PS is giving you problems, especially video problems.
In your case start with the last suggestion, uncheck Enable OpenGL Drawing.

Make sure you video driver is up to date.

See if resetting your preferences file helps, it fixes a lot of strange problems in Photoshop.

Start Photoshop and immediately hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)

or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X).

Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

Try unchecking Enable OpenGL Drawing in Edit|Preferences|Performance
