Layer Adjustments

Hi,

I did some scanning and opened them up in PS for editing. I've grouped certain layers and applied a Levels adjustment layer. I have a layer within that group that has a text box that's a bit too dark however other paragraphs are fine. How can I isolate just the text box and remove the levels adjustment on it within that same layer without affecting the other paragraphs and without moving it to a layer on its own?

Insufficient information to give an accurate recommendation. Providing an image of your Layer Stack and image would be helpful.
Here is my best guess without the above information.
Create a Layer Mask on the Adjustment Layer that excludes the text and it should do the trick.
