layers...don't understand initial instructions in "For Dummies"

In Bouton's "For Dummies...", he suggests we download example files but the stated web site gives a PDF file. I don't know how to download from such a file. Then he mentions a Guy01.tif file, which brings up a porn site!
 
Links, you need to post the full links in the book so we know that your talking about.
 
I just got Guy Bouton's Photoshop Elements for Dummies." I started with Book V, Chapter 1, and on page 1 he states that "you can download the examples file from" and gives a web site. That site gives a PDF file, so I can't download anything from it. Later on he refers the reader to a .TIF file which is totally inappropriate in content.

What am I not understanding?
 
As mentioned the domain name suggested may have expired or no longer exists. The porn site took over the domain name.

Did you open the PDF was that porn too?

This is the real file (Guy01.tif)as mentioned in the book and among the contents of that zip file from his site.

Gary Bouton's relative whom he uses for PS work exercises in all his books.... lol...

Thanks for the helpful reply. However, my more serious problem is that I'm running Photoshop 9, and the book I bought at a discount, of course, I now realize is for Photoshop 5!
