Liquiefy in PS CC 2015

I hope somebody can tell me why my Liquefy filter doesn't work like it did in my older versions of PS. I used it a lot before but now when I use it I can't see the results as I make them. Is there some setting that I have wrong that causes nothing to happen when I edit my object but when I click ok, there's a warp there that I couldn't see before when I was editing. Sorry if I have trouble explaining this.

Liquefy Filter works fine for me on CC2015 if that's the version your talking about, have you tried resetting preferences

Windows - CTRL-SHIFT-ALT immediately after you double-click the PS icon.

Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
