Great job Paul. I like your approach of lowering the top of the image which saves time on cutting out the whole car.

I used XnView to open it, then saved it from there. (There is a Mac version available)

It stripped out any meta-data but it fixes the problem. Sometimes the 'jpg' header info can get corrupted and PS being what PS is, it just doesn't recognise it as a valid image file.

This can happen if a filename extension gets changed to something other than the original.

XnView isn't so choosy.

Regards.

Whats wrong with it? There's just a few minor areas that need a little touch up, otherwise, it looks pretty good to me.

You need a little Clone Stamp Tool work in the areas with the yellow arrows.
And add back a thin shadow in front of the car, orange arrow.
And of course, crop the image at the bottom.

One thing I did forget to mention, in order to make this look authentic (as though it were an actual drive-able car) you would have to move the wheels/tires inward, move the the body of the car outward, or flare the fenders so that the tires would not be hitting the fender wells.

What a great community here, I'm suprised - non jokes for Micra, no jokes for lowering micra, just calm, good humour.
