Hello,

First off, thanks for any help. I am most definitely a newbie. This seems like it should be easy and I'm sure if I read long enough I could find a specific answer, but there is just an overwhelming amount of info available. Hence, I turn to you kind forum.

The problem in need of solving: I have a logo that I need do two things to. 1st: I need to get the entire background transparent while keeping the edges sharp (and the very tiny edges of text 'full'). 2nd: I simply need to change the color of said logo to white (while keeping said sharpness). Why can't I figure something so simple out? I do not know.

Thank you very much in advance. Logo is attached.

ahc44 Steves ,essage was not aimed at you the person he was talking to message has been deleted.

Your image is very low quality so you may struggle to do what you actually want you could try creating a levels adjustment layer and slide the blacks all the way to the right and then merge them together , invert the layer and create blank layer below your logo layer right click the logo and go to blending options you will see to sliders drag the top slider from the left(blacks) to the right until all the blacks dissappear and you should be left with a white transparant logo. However due to the resolution you may want to redraw it at higher resolution.
