Hello everyone.

I've just installed CS6 and am having issues with the image displaying properly. It looks fine in the ACR window, but when it opens into Photoshop it the layer only shows certain parts of the whole image, not the entire image. When I zoom in and out sometimes multiples of one section of the image show, but I simply cannot see the image in its whole self. I've never ever encountered this in my life. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is a sample image of what I see at times.

Make sure your video driver is up to date.

Turn off Edit|Preferences|Performance|Use Graphics Processor

Try resetting the preferences file.
It cures a lot of strange behavior in PS.

Start Photoshop and immediately hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X).

Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

Hi Steve

Thanks mate. After browsing more into the forum within this troubleshooting forum section I did read about driver updates. Since I've just reformatted a laptop we bought three years ago for the first time, I looked up the ATI Radeon graphics card driver update and it appears to be working now.

I sincerely appreciate your help. :)
