hey people

i'm new to these forums but i need help with a simple thing

i want to draw hair with the pen tool
but when i stroke the path the edges of the paths stay rounded and i want them very sharp

the only way i got this right was messing with selections but selections are a pain in the ass..

It's always going to look that way depending on how closely you examine it. If you think about it, a brush or a pencil tip is actually round. You could use a square brush, but in that case it will have a blunt end.

I don't really see why this would be an issue. Hair is composed of separate strands, and doesn't have corners.

If you make a path with the pen tool, then stroke it, you get a pop-up box with the simulate pressure option. If you check this box, the ends of your stroke will taper.

That may help.
