Selecting Vanishing Point Filter

I'm using a CS3 with a powermac and having trouble accessing Vanishing Point. No matter what I try, it remains grayed out and unavailable in the menu of filters. I've tried selecting the layer I want to work with, made a new layer, even tried selecting from different tools. I can open other filters but not this one. This is a complex, large file with many layers...

I'd love some help!

Thanks!

haven't used cs3 in awhile but cmyk mode doesnt work in VP. try rgb mode...... if I remember right and if your in cmyk

thats what I said ;)

That's what you said and you are correct.
VP doesn't work in CMYK.

Actually Vanishing Point ONLY works in RGB mode.
In addition to CMYK VP doesn't work in Grayscale, or Indexed, or LAB, or Multichannel either.

"Vanishing Point ONLY works in RGB mode"
