Logitech mouse is good, however, most Logitech mouse comes with a keyboard that I don't prefer to use.

I've always opted for Logitech - right now using an M510 model:
It's a larger scale mouse which I like since my hands arent as steady as they used to be be. Its wireless and never had a problem with positioning. Has worked on almost any surface I put it on with no skipping or freezing.
Tried a Wacom tablet but just couldn't control my movements as well.
Not a gamer so can't advise that use. But works really well for me using Photoshop.
