Hi
I'm creating a new website header and I have created a new button for my nav bar. I'm clicking ctr + alt + shift and clicking and dragging and dropping the new buttons across. Is there a way to exactly keep the same distance between the buttons? Right now I'm trying to judge it by eyesight. I'm sure there's got to be a better way.

Thanks

I normally create guides by using rulers handy tool for menu items or you can use the measurement log by going to window > measurement log

Yes there is! As long as you've got CS4 or CS5. Select your first button layer. Hit ALT-CMD-T. Move your button to the new location. This function actually copies the item instead of just moving it. Once you've got it where you want it, click enter. Now just hit SHIFT-ALT-CMD-T and another duplicate is made for you the same distance you moved the first one. Repeat until you've made all your buttons. Then just go back and change whatever needs changing to each button. Voila!

There are most always sveral ways to do things. Using the move tool with the align and distribution functions is another.
