Pentool vs refine tool.

Well, the 'Pen' tool doesn't remove anything.
The 'Refine' tool doesn't exist.

I'd say, neither was better than the other.

The Pen Tool along with the Refine Edge/Mask function works very well for creating paths/selections that can then be used for removing backgrounds.

I saw some video at youtube. they remove background with the help of pen tools.

What do you think MrToM

? which tools should I use to remove background?

Any path created by the pen tool can be converted into a selection (which can then be deleted/saved). If your eyes and your mouse are sharp enough, this is a good way to go.

It very much depends on the image, and as i don't have the image I couldn't say what is best.

If you post the image I'll have a look and base my recommendation from that.
