Hello I have this photo of a couple of children sitting on the bank of a canal close to where I live. I have reduced it to 20% of its original size for this forum. I would like to do two things with it: keep everything in focus apart from applying a slightly soft focus to the children. I...

It might appear as a silly question, but this problem gets increasingly annoyant, when one is confronted with it often ... The issue is this - since I often switch to my file explorer to copy the file name to later insert it in the Photoshop's "Save as" menu, it's quite cumbersome to always use...

Its a bit out of focus because I can't really focus in the dark that well. I think it came out ok, but I was just wondering how people editing...

    Two-faced portrait (photomanipulation)

focus stacking - panel closes after alignment done

I do a fair amount of macro work and focus stacking has been a standard tool for some time now. It's a technique that takes a modest amount of preliminary work and the procedure is absolutely rote once the photos are loaded. No thought or additional manipulation required. But I've been having...
