Copy MS Word text to PSD?

I am trying to do something but it doesn´t seem to work.

I have made a background paper in Photoshop. I want to copy a text from a word document and paste it into the paper in PS.

I have tried several things, but nothing works. Then I tried to make the paper a png, and insert it into word to copy in the text there instead, and I couldn´t get that to work either.

Any suggestions?

just open up your word document copy the text you want to move over select the type tool click once on your image theen press control and V should work fine I have just done it. make sure your type size is right though if it is to small you wont see it and if it is to big it wont paste

Thanks Hoogle! I was able to do it finally after I had made a text box, I had forgotten to click the type tool lol ooops.
