Help extending background

Hello. I need help on how to go about extending the table/wood to fill in the blank space above the food and make the background appear seamless. If you figure this out I would love to hear your process. Thank you.

The rule to follow is that your sample point is always in line with the tools brush. Whether it's up, down, at an angle, or sideways. Sample often so that you don't get repeating pixels.

No. There's no need to.
