It's a bit slow to get going, but pretty much explains everything about the pen tool and how to use it.
Have you tried sketching it on paper, scanning it into your computer, and then tracing it with the pen.
If you do want to do it free hand, it would be best with quite a tight spaced grid which you can achieve by going to Preferences/ Guides, grid and slices. Then put 0.2 for the distance between each line in a cm. Once you have done that, go to View/Show/Grid.
