Image Borders

To keep myself busy and my brain active, I format books in the public domain and post them on mobileread.com for all to download and read. (Kindle, Sony, Nook, etc,)

I format the illustrations in the books to incorporate the captions into the image so that the illustration doesnt appear on one page and the caption on the next. The attached image is typical.

I put a border aroud the image using Select -> Modify -> Border.

My question, then, is this. Is there a way to create simple frames to use around the images or a source of such frames which would be more artistic (??). The border is kind of dull.

Ideas are all appreciated.:mrgreen:

Same procedure using various filters will yield different results.
