Looking for a design of a new tattoo!

OK, let's see we have one challenge at the moment? Then, that's not hundreds so ... OK but I have to look around at what comprises good tattoo art and see if there are any tuts, at least explaining what makes a good tattoo. How about you Paul; wanna do a tutorial?

Clare tuts have got to be my weakest point on this forum, that and understanding illustrator.
You go for it mate it was your idea, so lets see it - don't forget there are lots of differing styles of tattoo art out there so maybe you pick one style as the challenge idea, then you come up with some funky plan for it?
Maybe post a image of a celebrity and then have us all challenge shop tattoo on him/her in that given style?

Some information is missing for this request, we need to know your skin complexion and were your putting it. DO you plan on using deep pastel colors the look really good on plale skin or something else?

I'm pretty light colored. I thinking of having it to be colorful, not just black and grey. Not sure if it's deep pastel colors or not, the tattoo artist would determine that I assume.

Any more attempts on my request would be greatly appreciated :)

Personally, I would try local tattoo artists before this website. Not because they may be better, but because some tattoo artists won't copy designs you have already prepared. Some artists will ONLY do original work.

Check around where you live (live or on-line), and try to find an artist, whose style you like.

I have a friend who is an amazing tattoo artist here in San Diego.

He told me before he won't do prepared artwork - period. He tells people to find another artist to "copy" their drawing. He will only do original work.

A lot of my old friends are still tattooing people, i stopped when we made the life change and moved over to Australia.
But what you wrote is very true, so many artists will not do that type of request they will usually do a reworking of it, depending on body type/shape etc.
This guy here is after ideas, so thats ok - thats why i put in large letters 'just a idea' - NOT A TATTOO DESIGN.
The amount of people i had walk in the studio with a grubby piece of paper asking for that exactly as is, was crazy. A tattoo is for life so think really hard about your design ideas and then trust a REGISTERED TATTOO ARTIST to take it up a couple of notches, unless your after basic 'stamp' designs that is.

Thanks guys. All the info I needed has been completed. When I get the tattoo done, I'll show you guys the result. Once again, thanks guys!
