Hi Guys,
Does anyone have any advice on how I can remove this person with her hair intact from the background?
Many thanks

This is something that would have to be manually done, with high expertise... No Advice can really help you with this.
If the hair hadn't have been so everywhere than is might have been easier, the main problem with this image is that the right side of the head had hair that overlaps the similar background, which means that has to go if you want her cut-out, because if you do not it will look horribly unnatural.

Good luck,

You could try a basic method can be time consuming if you want it perfected as the colours all seem to blend in together this is what I would reccomend if you are not very confident with channel based selections or other advanced selections.
make a guick selection on the person you want cutting out and copy to a new layer does not have to be really accurate.
duplicate the original image and bring to top and apply a layer mask and invert it (paint it all in black.)
Hide the bottom layer then making sure the top layer is selected and the layer mask choose a soft white brush and paint in any parts of the image you have missed in the original selection, if you paint in to much then switch your paint brush to black and it will hide it.
This of course is a basic method but can be quite effective here is the basic layout of the psd you should get or you can fine tune this 1 if you like.
