My blinker is on the left side when I put a text, How do I fix this?

And when I put a punctuation such as a question mark or period, it shows on the left side.
How do I fix this?

Fix what?

You can move the cursor with your keyboard arrows keys or by just clicking on the text where you want it.....but nothing needs fixing as such.

Or is it more deep rooted than just that?

Make sure your TYPE preference is set to EAST ASIAN.
