Need Help Smoothing out logo

Howdy All.

I created my logo but cannot seem to get the aperture symbol to look smooth.

Instead its all jaggy and amateur looking..

Any tips or help?

i see only 3 layers in the psd where are the rest?

Only 3.... One for Arcus one for Media and one for the aperture symbol.

increase the resolution it will help a bit

should i try printing resolution? 300dpi?

did you start with 72dpi? you may want to start a new one, using higher resolution 300 yes if you are printing

I think you just had some issues with the image you used. The edges were a bit jagged and when you applied the layer effects there were artifacts showing all around the edges.

I remade it for you with a cleaner image:

Drop Shadow and Stroke are using this for the edge to apply FX and it's just to rough.
