Hi, I retouching why grandpa's old photo that is a little torn and yellow stuff on the top right with him in the middle. I want to blow him away by adding colour using the colour blend mode and using colour from other photos I find ex; to use on his skin, I can go on google images and find a portrait for colour (eye dropper). As well as using the clone stamp and patch tool to take the yellow and torn parts out. Lastly I want to use the dodge and burn tool to lighten dark spots and darken light spots. But I was wondering if anyone could give me some more things I could do to his photo to amaze him... any tips or tricks??? Thanks! This is my send post I think!

Hello there SolidBrowser. I have a few links that may help you with this task:
This one talks about channels, which will help with the yellow parts of the image and other areas as well - http://www.operationphotorescue.org/forum/index.php/topic,394.0.html
And this one talks about the burn and dodge tool - http://www.operationphotorescue.org/forum/index.php/topic,844.0.html
This one talks about recoloring - http://www.operationphotorescue.org/forum/index.php/topic,2790.0.html

I would suggest you browse those forums as they have tons of helpful posts about restoring old photos. If you have any particular trouble, you can always post in the thread with the image and we can help you along! We have a few members here who restore images for Operation Photo Rescue and I'm sure they can pass on some knowledge if you need it! Good luck and keep us updated on your progress :)
