Problem is that all that Chanell Mixer, Hue/Saturation will not work good to such dark object so first of all brighten it
I think esiest way is on head use:
1. Image/Adjustment/Shadows&Highlights with Amout +80.
2. With Curves brighten even more (or not).
3. Now Use Chanell Mixer. in Output chanell Red set red about +110 (others=0), in Output chanell Blue set blue to +80 (others=0).
Of course those numbers not writen in stone, change like you want it.

Something like that.
If you do excatly as desribed you should get result close to this:

Is this an improvement? You know sometimes you mess with it so long then you don't really know if it is or not. Still couldn't get the color quite right. :sad:

Great effort, just back off with the sharpening and try and get images of roughly the same size it really helps when mixing mate.
