Photoshop randomly changing fonts!

Hey all.

Anyone ever seen, or heard of, anything like this?

I am typing a letter to someone for a school assignment. I downloaded an old-fashioned handwriting font to use. Each time I switched to a different window, then back to Ps, it would start typing in Myriad Pro.

On the attached screen shot, I started typing just fine in the downloaded "Italian Cursive, 16th C." font, then it just randomly switched to Myriad Pro, mid-sentence.

I've seen that occasionally in Illustrator.

Myriad Pro is the default font, so Ps switching to it could indicate a problem with the font you are trying to use.

To be clear, you are not copy/pasting any text into Photoshop, just clicking back into Photoshop as the active window?
