I took a break from it sorry.

I did finally figure it out but it's still confusing me. I don't know how I did it. We're on different machines, too. So I think I held shift or something. Anyway not easy.

This is what it looks like. Not too impressed but for amateur I guess I did OK... I got bored so I didn't do the G lol...

I learned how to maneuver a bit in PS going through this tut. Thank you for all your help with this.

This was a very difficult tut to understand and it was not written well. I think the author assumed too much from their readers and did not take into consideration that it would be hard for beginners to understand. It also did not use what I call more contemporary techniques. Perhaps you should have started with something a bit easier.

You did a pretty good job though despite the tut itself and the obvious communication issues. Not being familiar with Photoshop terminology can be a huge handicap.

I learn something new with every single tut I do regardless of whether or not I finish, so not all s lost.

I would encourage you to explore some technique tutorials addressing individual tool usage.
Also, learning layer masking is an absolute must!
