rounded corners


I think you can try using feather and the rounded rectangle shape tool to give the sides a nice "fade" effect. Then you get the rounded corners. Hope this helps!
 
You need to go back to the canvas and change the background to transparent. If the background layer is locked, right click and say "Layer from background" then you can use the eraser to get rid of the background color :]
 
dont use a background layer, double click the background layer and make it an actual editable layer, dont save as a jpeg or the transparency will be white i think...or black idk
