Wave The Antennae :)

Hey,

I have this bee Antennae



I want to move it a bit up (still attached to the bee due ) and use Edge to make the animation to look like it's waving

Can I do it with Photoshop?
If so, which tool can I use?

Would illustrator be easier to do this sort of thing?

Hello and welcome to PSG.

On the original image, use your Polygonal Lasso Tool to make a selection around the antennae.
Hit Command/Control + J to copy the selected antennae to it's own layer.


New antennae layer.


Turn off the new antennae layer.
Add a layer mask to the original layer.


Use your Brush Tool (set to black) to mask out the original antennae.




At this point I would add a new layer filled with white below the original layer.


All that's left to do is to use the Free Transform function to move the new antennae layer.
Select/highlight the new antennae layer.
Hit Command/Control + T to enter free transform.
Move the center pivot point to the base of the antennae.


Place your cursor just outside top right hand corner handle and rotate.


Hit enter to accept the changes.

Puppet warp for me.



Just make a selection of the antenna on a new layer then make the points up using puppet warp (i used three) move as you wish then animate.

The thing is that I want to import it into edge and create the animation there.
I would like to use the Puppet warp but I don't have it in Edge unfortunately.

I only have the Transform Tool there
