No, v. 9 of Photoshop Elements. I see the rotating ads, but this graph always appears, and I don't have to click anything to see it.

I'm using v. 9. Might you be looking at an earlier version that does it differently?

Y'know that bar graph at the bottom of the Home Page? Somehow, mine began filling up with Backup/Synchronization items. I don't know how I started the process, nor can I figure out how to delete what's there now. Nearly half my 2GB space was filled before I saw what was happening and stopped it...

    Unconnected files

For weeks now, I've been wrestling with a problem that keeps getting solved but then keeps recurring. One of my folders, which contains almost 400 pictures, keeps vanishing. When it vanishes, all 400 thumbnails in that "non-existent" folder get an "unconnected" question mark in the upper left...

    Glare

I'm editing photos taken years ago by someone else ... and I'm dealing with a very large number of those photos. Some have severe glare, some have only moderate glare, some have none at all.

    Glare

Enter your zip code here 19004 Is there a good way to either tone down or remove the reflective glare that frequently shows up in a photo subject's eyeglasses? I have a number of otherwise nice photos, but the viewer will always see these glare spots first.

    Speckled photos

Yes, those tools are available, and I've been using both of them. Another poster just told me about a "Despeckle" tool in the Filter:Noise menu. Sounds like that tool has possibilities. Thanks for your reply.

Many thanks. There is, indeed, such a tool in E7. I'll go about learning how to use it momentarily.

    Speckled photos

Enter your zip code here 19004 Feature by feature, I'm learning a lot about Elements 7, but I can't find anything to address a problem I'm having with many of my photos: speckles -- literally thousands of dots (usually white) in numerous parts of the photo. Some of them are easily removed with...

    Scanning multiple photos

I think I just stumbled upon the answer. It works only in "Full Edit," not in one of the lesser modes. In "Full Edit," the "Divide" command was available, but in "Guided Edit," it was grayed out.

    Scanning multiple photos

This may be the case. The software came bundled with a scanner and, yes, there may be some limitations. I just don't know. The version number (7.0) doesn't tell me anything. Thanks.

Not silly at all. Yes and yes.

    Scanning multiple photos

I recently learned of what sounded like a wonderful Elements feature: Scan as many photos as you can fit on your scanner bed and Elements will divide the scan into individual photos. The key was to use the "Divide Scanned Photos" command on the Image menu. Sounds great, but that command is...

    A Help index

I can't find a traditional Help function in my version of Elements. (Mine came bundled with my scanner, so maybe that's the reason??) I expect to find the same Help Index that I see in all my other applications. But whenever I search, I get 85,000 links back instead of a couple of Help topics...

    Straightening a photo

Thanks, I'll try that. No, this one is not far off center, though I've had the same problem with a few other photos.
