    Elements 12=stop resizing when placing photo into a document..??

    I have both elements 9 & 12... my problem only happens w/v.12... when I drag/drop an image from photo bin, the image is ALWAYS resized to the size of the host document... both images are same resolution... I've tried re-setting preferences; & re-booting pc... no option to turn this off...

    yes.... 72 dpi.... BOTH images.... as I said... the operation is done fine with the EXACT same images on a different pc using v9 Elements... I actually completed my collage project using v9; but I want to know what's going on with the v12 issue..??

    image filenames display from the BEGINNING of the filename... most of my filenames are lengthy, & sequenced... /001, /002... etc... so all my filenames opened in PS read the same... the cursor will display the complete filename, only if under 4 files are open... only way I have found to see the...

    I'm trying to fill an area left-to-right with the gradient tool... everything appears to work fine, except the gradient is always applied from top-to-bottom..??... in the Gradient Tool Option Bar; just left of the "mode", there are 5 little icons that should let me choose the type of gradient...

    ...looks good....I saved your video to review in detail later... just a thought I had... for me to do similar projects again; might it be easier to create a custom brush... doughnut-oval shape... then just dodge the vignette..??... btw... you're talking to an old analog darkroom guy here...
