Hey Photoshop Gurus! I need some help remembering how to do something I saw done once in a video tutorial. How do you take a layer style like a Drop Shadow and make it into it's own layer so that you can transform it independently of the original layer to which the layer style was applied...

Actions Grouping Photoshop Actions into Folders

I have a lot of actions loaded into Photoshop CS5, and I want to organize them into folders or "Sets" as Adobe calls them. In my layers window I can make a new set, but I can't seem to find a way to put my existing actions into the new set folder. Most of them are already in their own folder...

Are my t-shirt designs good enough commercially.

Hi Anmar. I think the designs look pretty good, nice job. The only thing I don't really like are the initials... maybe it's just the placement of them but it seems to distract from the overall design. How do you go into a business designing T-shirts?

New Dark Forum Style is Now the Default

I'll throw in my :02: this dark theme is a HUGE improvement. Most of use graphic designers look at the computer monitor for long periods of time, and light or white themes are a strain on the eyes after a while. This is much better.

    Changes to the Freelance Section

Looks good. A nice feature to think about for future changes would be for forum members to be able to create a portfolio on the site, maybe like attached to their profile somehow.

    Converting to JPEG

I have no idea how to make a video from a PDF, but to the original poster if you are using these images on your computer and not the web, 100% quality is the way to go. If you are saving them for the web I would suggest something around 75% quality settings.
