Cant select multiple layers??????

All of a sudden, I cant use the CTRL+CLICK to select Multiple Layers. When I do, I get this little box at the point of the cursor and ""Load Selection" pops up in the History.
Any ideas? Just starting doing this out of nowhere.

Seems like you got a profile setting issue.

Try resetting your profile settings, hit "Crtl +Alt +Shift" at the same time, when PS starts that will restore all your settings to default, sometimes the settings profile gets corrupted and PS start doing some weird stuff.

Try making sure your using the move tool when you try to select the multi-layers. Just guessing, but sometimes it's important to be using certain tools for certain things.

Don't click on the picture portion, click on the solid area of the layer around the name.
