How do I convert the psd. files to png?

Hey!

I have a problem. I have several hundred photos which I would like to convert from psd. to png. I have done the Action part, where:

1. I create an action
2. I open the psd. file
3. I edit the necessary (image size only)
4. I save the psd. file to png.
5. I go to automate folder -> Batch
6. I select the source folder etc.
7. I close the action

How ever, when the Photoshop has done the batching, when I go to the folder where the photos should be saved in PNG, they are still in PSD form.

Where is the problem?

You could try Irfanview

First go here

Then right click on the selected PSD's and select this

Then set the Output format to PNG

Hey! Forgot to say, I'm using OS X and I think Irfanview is only for Windows?

I am a PC user so dont know how useful this is but have a look at these alternatives.

Cheers guys! I downloaded XnView which did the job nicely! Funny that freeware program does easily the thing and paid software causes pain in the ass.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help!
