After Effects Recreating flowing lines animation

Hey guys! I've found this lovely animation of lines twisting and being nice in general:

How would you recreate this effect? Any tip is greatly appreciated

This is made in Adobe After Effects and not in Adobe Photoshop

Unfortunately we don't have many if any users that uses Adobe After Effect...

At one time we had many active core members who were extremely great with After Effects. Unfortunately, they have mostly moved on. That would probably explain the ranking.

I am certainly not an After Effects expert (I have dabbled a very little bit).

Have you seen this video - multiplying the effect created and changing colours would get you close to what you are after - I think.
