Hi,
I need to cut a precise square of 350x450 from an image that is much larger. How can I easily cut out a specified area from an image to create another image?

Thanks,
Dave

Welcome to PSG, gossamer.

With the marquee selection tool selected, go to the menu style and select fixed size... add in your selected size...

Awesome, thanks so much. Perhaps there's something more that I need, however. Trying to cut a 350x450 box out of an image loses too much of the image. Maybe there's a better way to make this page look better?

Thanks for any ideas.
Best,
Dave

Resize the image first so you won't lose so much of it.
Great, thanks, that's what I've done. It's not quite exactly the right dimensions (due to trying to maintain proportions), but it'll be just fine.

Thanks again,
Dave
