Hello,

I'm a complete beginner to the world of photoshop. I saw tutorials about how to make CD front side cover on youtube. But there is no tutorial for making the back side of a CD ... an this is the most complicated (in my view) since we outta take into account the rainbow light diffraction effect. If you guyz now a tutorial on how to do this I'd appreciate if you gimme the link. Otherwise, I'll just follow your recommendation. Below are images of what I'm trying to do.

OK, he're a real quick experiment and I would need to work on the colors.

I first opened the Gradient editor and made a real quick gradient.
(note: I just used one of the existing one which is why my colors are wild!)

I then created a gradient across my canvas.

I then went to filter > distort > polar coordinates.
Or you could just set the Gradient Tool to 'angle gradient.

Then I just added my CD selection.

Then added a layer mask.

Of course the colors are off and I would need to go back to the Gradient Editor and work on them, but this gives you some idea as to how I would go about it.
