How to change background to white

Hey Guys

Can anyone show me how to make the background of this picture completely white?

I need to upload this pic to a website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you could use 'filter - lenscorrection' and make a white vignet (+60)

Or try selecting the hat with the quick selection tool. Once you have only the hat selected, invert the selection (CTRL+SHIFT+I) and fill the background with solid white. (ALT+BKSPC)

in photoshop elements it's called Filter→Correct Camera Distortion
