    Apply Gradient to Type

You need to make a "mask" out of the rasterized type layer. Several steps involved, but it's an easy task to do. basics, make a layer that has your radiant colors on it, make another layer that's above that one, for the text. Rasterize and for the heck of it, maybe add color to the layer with...

    Some Vacation pics

hahaha, yeah thanks Gaussian... we stood back and watched it for a while, to guage the speed, and picked the slowest spots to stand in front of it. it truely is a once in a lifetime thing to do, and I'm glad it didn't work out either of the 4 previous times I was here to try to climb it. (no...

    Some Vacation pics

ok, so the first ones look ok when posted, let's try a few more. I've got hundreds, but I will spare you all from most all of them. Next up, the main fountain in Central Plaza @ Antigua, Guatemala (pg-13 rated). Plus some pics of the flowing lava from Pacaya Volcano, just outside of Guatemala...

    Some Vacation pics

not sure how they'll look, since I had to reduce them so much to upload them, but the larger versions I think are pretty decent. First up I've got a few of the Cahab?n River in the Cob?n department of Guatemala... Including one where we tubed through a cave... Plus as a bonus, a cool little...

Anyone with a little spare time to help me with my band logo?

What kind of music do you cover? Pop? Rock? Soul? That could play a role in the style of lettering and anything else. Without knowing what music is covered, I'd pick the fun font with the dots in it, but that's because I can't stand traditional type anymore. I'm sure plenty would say that's a...

    Soapy Logo

I almost bought that book a few years ago, is it worth the money? Pamela, Brainstorming is good, opinions are good, it's choosing the right logo that's the hardest part.

    Soapy Logo

maybe this idea is a bit off, or at least more than I think it is... What about since the theme of the site is chatting/talking about stuff, you take the soapbox graphic a bit further, and go with the old way of people getting ON a soapbox (i.e.- box crate, to tell what they have to say). Maybe...

    still no images

I don't have problems seeing attachments or photos or whatever. No idea, other than I'm not using I.E. I use Mozilla whenever possible. Which is pretty much always. And, I dis-appeared for a long while, because life took me away, not because of a problem here.

    Watercolor

You know the problem with some people? There's a saying (do you know it?)... Those who can, do. Those who can't, (try to) teach. That's not to say there aren't good teachers out there, but obviously some get "jealous" when their students can do great (or at least better) work, than they can...

    People are really strange!

I was within a few miles of this "spectacle' on my summer trip to New york. Now I'm glad I didn't stop afterall. Watching paint dry is about as boring as driving 1000 miles past things like that. Hey, every town needs something to "put them on the map" though.
