Start by typing "8" using a big font size. |

Right click the layer and select "convert to shape". |

Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar. Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool. |

| Select both the paths using path selection tool. Then click over the "Combine" button. |

| Now select the upper node and move it as shown. |

| Similarly select the other node and move. |

| Select different nodes and move as shown in the image below. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

Duplicate the layer. Remove the layer style. Delete nodes as shown. |
